4 Natural and Effective Tips to Get Rid Of Cracked Heels

It is quite crucial to take good care to keep yourself beautiful. We often ignored our feet as compared to our faces and hands. It is essential to take care of both sides. If you are worried concerning your cracked and painful heels, here are a few remedies, which will answer your problem in a jiffy:

1. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera renowned for its powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties alleviates dry and dead skin and relief from cracked heels. Vitamin E oil is also excellent for hydrating cracked skin.

How to use:

Firstly, take a small tub filled with warm water, soak your feet in it, and gently scrub using a pumice stone to clear dead skin.
Pat dry and apply a coat of Aloe Vera gel mix with olive oil to your feet.
Cover up your legs with cotton socks and move to the bed.

How frequently:

Do this every night; you can see the results within one week.

2. Rice Flour

Rice flour exfoliates and purifies the skin. Honey is a natural antiseptic that helps in curing cracked feet. Besides this, high anti-fungal properties in apple cider vinegar also help in treating your feet. It helps to moisten dry and dead skin.

How to use:

Make a scrub by mixing 2 tbsp rice flour, 1 tsp honey, and few drops of apple cider vinegar. Mix thoroughly and prepare a thick paste.
Place your feet in lukewarm water for 10 minutes, and then gently scrub your feet using this paste to remove dead skin.

How frequently:

Follow up the process two to three times a week.

3. Banana

Banana is a natural moisturizer that carries many vitamins, such as A, C, and B6. Honey holds antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. It helps to moisturize the skin also and acts as a natural medicine for cracked heels.

How to use:

Mash a small banana in a bowl and add a tsp of honey in it. Stir it well till it comes to a liquid texture.
Then apply the paste on your heels and gently rub.
Wait for 20-30 minutes, then clean it off with lukewarm water, apply moisturizer.

How frequently:

You can apply this every night before going to bed until you will get the results.

4. Oil Massage

The mixture of almond, coconut, and castor oil will provide maximum benefit to your heels. It will not only heal your cracked heels but will also make them soft and smooth.

How to use:

Take one teaspoon each of castor, coconut and almond oil. Mix them and give massage to your heels.
You can apply a thick coat of Vaseline or Aloe Vera gel after that so that the oil gets absorbed thoroughly.
Do this process at night before sleeping and don’t forget to wear socks.
